We currently offer a number of programs related to addictions for the surrounding communities. We're interested in finding out more about the possibility of acupuncture detox in our community. Dr. Carmen Eadie (a registered acupuncturist) is also interested in assisting us to be more effective with our clients through the use of this method. I'm trying to come up with a program proposal for our regional Ministry of Children and Families for funding and I have some questions: 1. Local data is hard to come by. Do you know of any B.C. or Canadian data on success of this method of detox? 2. We are currently calling NADA for quotes on training. Do you provide training in acupuncture detox? If so, what would be the costs of training say 10 people here in Penticton? Who would be other trainers that you would suggest? 3. It was great to come across your web page.
