To make public group acupuncture drug detoxification setting cost-effective for government funded agencies, NADA certified acupuncturists who form the B.C. Acupuncture Detox Committee have agreed and proposed consensually to work for $25 per hour available five to seven days a week.

Note: A 3-month acupuncture pilot project for addiction management based on NADA protocols was proposed by the Vancouver /Richmond Health Board (VRHB) effective early part of 1999.
